Steampunk Shoulder Piece by MatthewSilva Steampunk Shoulder Piece by MatthewSilva
This is a Steampunk Shoulder piece made by myself.
The piece was sculpted from WED clay, molded and then cast in fiberglass. Process time for this piece before painting was about 3-4 days of work

Painting and weathering time took 1 day

Main piece is fiberglass, accouterments are mixed media ranging from pourable urethane, stamped metal pieces, and glass.

This piece is (as in picture) fully wearable.

Thanks for looking!

This might be the most creative piece of armor I've ever seen in DA, if not period.

Although the lantern looks a bit akward, I love this piece very much. I'd love to have it, but considering that it's not for sale, nor that I have any money...

Might just have to make something similar myself.

Love it, how did you make the boar's head? Is that molded fiberglass as well?

It's actually a wolf's head ^_^
It was sculpted in castaline and molded in a tin cure silicone. The casting is a pour in 2 part resin plasic made by smoothon. =D
